I first met Dale Cossman about 2 years ago, while riding with a girlfriend over by his place.
Dale was working a colt and we started talking about horses.
He told us that he trimmed and shod horses, professionally.
Well, I needed a horse shod; so he started coming to our place on a regular basis.
Eventually, I asked him if he had any horses for sale because
I felt he had a good sense about horses and was a really good trainer.
He had a mare and a gelding for sale.
After talking and riding, I decided on the gelding,
which is how I met Corky.
Corky is a 4.5 year old, bay gelding.
Dale put really good, groundwork and manners on Corky.
I could tell he had put that old foundation training on Corky.
It reminded me of how my granddad use to start colts.

Jeri,
Thank you for the many years of being such a good friend and client.
Your love for horses shows in the care (regular shoeing) and love you give them.
We had many good rides together, especially the burro chase!
We know Corky has a super home.
Though we are saddened by your move to Texas,
we know how happy you are to be with “all” your family.
