I wanted to shoot you an email to let you know we're doing great :-)
Eric and I took a trip with friends to a working ranch six hours away and brought the boys with us.
I had ridden Cowboy (now known as Huckleberry) a handful of times before our trip and I figured what better way to
get to know a horse than take him on a four day ranch trip! You were right when you said that he can go forever!
He turned his working walk on and we went EVERYWHERE! We worked some pretty tough terrain and steep elevation changes.
He never blinked an eye at where I pointed his nose. There were spots where you really needed a horse that had a good mind for
everyone's well being and he never let me down. I wanted to give him some time off during our trip, but he was always at the gate
wanting to go on the day's adventure with the rest of us. I threw a lot at him these past couple days and he took it all in stride.
He's a perfect adventure buddy for me!
