Cowtown Bee Classie
Quarter Horses   Horses for sale

Hi Dale and Susie,

Just a note to tell you how much I love my "Bee". She trailered home Saturday so quietly, not a peep out of her. I gave her Sunday off since Saturday was such a long day. I rode her her at my place on Monday, she was great. Tuesday I worked her here for 20 minutes, then rode down to Lynn's and talked to them for a while. Lot's of "neighborhood" stuff going on she probably hasn't seen or heard before and she was great. She's a little nervous, new surroundings and all, she pacing a grove down the long side of her paddock. But when I get on her, she does exactly what I ask. Yesterday was my first day on my new job, so I didn't get a chance to ride. This afternoon I did some dressage ground work to get her to supple, bend and accept the bit more and I was amazed at how good she did (sand blowing in our faces and all). I can't remember ever working with a young horse with such an accepting attitude.....maybe it's because I've never owned a Quarter Horse before, but it's probably due to the foundation training you give them, Dale. I'm really excited about her. I'm not sure how my saddle is going to work, it's really comfortable walking down the trail like I have been, but when it comes to getting some work done, I don't know. Doesn't feel stable enough, especially if I'm going to do any competing, which I think I might do. I was talking to a guy in Ranch and Home Tuesday and he asked her bloodlines. When I told him his pupils dialated and his eyes popped out of his head. He told me I "need to get her on some cow".
Thanks again,
I'll talk to you soon, Sandi
