Hi Dale and Suzy, I see Harley emailed you about the Ribbon she won on Sassy. I enclosed a couple of photos from the big event. Harley was so thrilled it is hard to explain. We didn't even know they had won anything we were just checking to see how much we improved from last time and low and behold they had 3rd place in the Figure 8. That was the only event Sassy crossed the white start line without balking. For some reason that day she had "white line fever", the nice part was that the club folks were real nice about helping Sassy over line with a little encouragement. So now Sassy has white flour lines in her paddock, we have them in the round pen and the arena. Pretty soon I will be putting them out on the trails, Gold Medal stocks have gone up. Sassy truly is a wonderful filly, she is coming along nicely she has some days where she is stubborn and she tries Harley's patience, but she never pushes it too far. We try to get her exposed to as much new things as we can. Harley has been riding her bareback and Sassy is just as mellow as can be. We keep up with the foundation training and are pretty much the envy of all other 3 year old owners who have more struggles than we do. Even the club folks remarked on how well trained she was for her age, so kudos to you Dale. They remark on what a beautiful filly she is, she does outshine the rest. She has the deepest nicker at the stables which is pretty funny. We hope you are well and thanks again for everything. We would like to bring Sassy down sometime before school starts so you can see her progress and give Harley a few pointers, hopefully we haven't missed anything important. Sassy gets ridden about 6 days a week, Bob is happy about that.

PS I also enclosed a picture of Bob (24) and still runs with the best of them, Sassy loves him.

hi,
Sassy and me went to another horse show! But we didn't win anything. We did barrels, pole bending, and alot more! I also rode her bareback on Thursday and she did great! Sassy and me are great and people at the show said she was very pretty and than they were amazed at how young she was. She's the prettiest filly around! I trotted and loped her at the show so we were the fastest one there but I don't care she is still the best!

Hi,
Today I took Sassy to a horse show! She did great! I trotted her around barrels and we got 38 sec. and we did the figure 8 at a trot, I forgot what score we got in that. She did great! The reason I took her to the show was to get her used to the noises, other horses, trailers, cars and I think she was happy to go to the show. Don't worry I am still doing everything Dale told me. She didn't do anything wrong. It was so much fun but I'm tired. I don't think I'm not going to go faster than a lope for awhile. your friends,
Harley and Sassy
